Protecting information assets within My Journey
Version 1.0 | January 2026This Information Security Policy establishes the framework for protecting information assets within the My Journey application, a project of The Jubilee Trust (Charity No. 1077936). This policy applies to all users, administrators, and any third parties who access, process, or manage data within the My Journey system.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information processed through the My Journey application, whilst supporting The Jubilee Trust in fulfilling its charitable objects of advancing the Christian faith.

Sensitive Personal Data: Religious beliefs, faith journey stages, and spiritual conversations which constitute special category data under UK GDPR.
Location Data: GPS coordinates and location names where conversations took place.

All sensitive personal data relating to faith and religious beliefs must be processed with explicit consent and handled with additional security measures as required by data protection legislation.
All data transmitted between users and the My Journey application is encrypted using SSL/TLS (HTTPS). Database connections are secured and access is restricted to authorised systems only.
Data is retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Users may request deletion of their data, and organisations can export data before account closure.
